Seminar on the topic “Using scientific sources in dissertation work” was held at Family and Gender Research Institute

Today, a scientific seminar was held for doctoral students of the institute on the topic “Using scientific sources in dissertation work”. The seminar was led by Doctor of Economics, Birol Mercan, professor of Necmettin Erbakan University. During the seminar, the features of searching for scientific and theoretical sources, planning the stages of their use, drawing up a research program, and using sociological research methods in studying the problem were considered. In particular, a discussion took place regarding the process of formulating the problem, object, subject, goals, and objectives of scientific research.
During the seminar, types of scientific hypotheses were analyzed in detail. The features of the process of putting forward descriptive, main and additional, primary and secondary hypotheses were highlighted. The procedures for publishing indexed articles in scientific databases and citation conditions were also explained.
At the end of the seminar, the guest was presented with a certificate of honor and scientific literature prepared by the institute’s staff.
